Realingo は、個人開発者である西田直人が開発・運営する語学学習アプリです。このポリシーでは、アプリがどのデータを、何のために集め、それがどう扱われるかを説明します。ご質問は naotonishida24@gmail.com までお願いします。

収集するデータと、その目的

他社のアプリやウェブサイトをまたいだトラッキングは行いません。アプリに広告は表示されません。
製品版アプリでは Firebase Analytics の収集を恒久的に無効化しています。別個の Google Sign-In SDK は、サインイン機能と SDK の分析のために上記の限定的な端末・利用データを処理することがあります。Realingo はこのデータを広告やアプリ横断のトラッキングに使いません。
端末内での処理
無料の問題生成は端末内のローカルな画像モデルで動き、スピーキング練習の音声認識も端末内で動きます。これらを使っているあいだ、写真と音声はどこにも送信されません。
研究への協力（任意）
写真から生成される練習問題の研究に協力するため、学習データを提供することを選べます。初期状態ではオフです。設定 > Share learning data でオンにでき、同じ画面からいつでも止められます。
オンのあいだ、次のデータがアカウント識別子とともにサーバーへ送られ、保存されます。
- 練習問題のもとになった写真（送信前に位置情報などのメタデータを除去）
- 生成された練習問題の文と、その正解
- あなたの解答、正誤、所要時間
氏名・メールアドレス・録音データが含まれることはありません。このデータは練習問題の品質に関する研究にのみ使い、広告には使わず、販売もしません。オフにすると、それ以降の送信は止まります。すでに提供されたコピーは保存されたままになるので、削除をご希望の場合はメールでご連絡ください。
オフのあいだは、これらが端末の外に出ることはありません。解答と履歴は端末内にのみ保持されます。
クラウド AI による処理（Premium）
Premium では、クラウド AI による問題生成が使えます。これを使うと、選んだ写真が Google の Gemini API に送られ、Google の Gemini API 規約のもとで処理されます。Realingo のサーバーは、リクエストの処理に必要な範囲を超えてこの内容を保持しません。ライティングとスピーキングの採点をクラウドで行う場合も同様です。
データの保存先
- Google Firebase（Firestore、Authentication、Functions、Storage）: アカウント情報、サブスクリプションの確認状態、限定的なサービス診断、および明示的に提供を選んだ研究データ。
研究への提供をオンにしないかぎり、写真が当方のストレージにアップロードされることはありません。写真は端末内に留まり、クラウド生成を依頼した瞬間にのみクラウド AI サービスへ送られます。
利用する外部サービス
アプリは次のサービスを利用しており、それぞれが自社の規約のもとでデータを処理します。
- Google Firebase（アカウント、データベース、ファイル保存）
- Google Sign-In（任意のアカウントサインイン）
- Google ML Kit Translate（端末内翻訳と、限定的な SDK テレメトリ）
- Google Gemini API（Premium の生成と解答採点のためのクラウド AI 処理）
データを販売することはありません。
ユーザーの選択と権利
研究への提供は、設定からいつでも止められます。アカウントの削除は、アプリ内の Profile > Request deletion から依頼できます。開示・削除のご請求は naotonishida24@gmail.com へのメールでも受け付けます。アプリ内の操作は削除依頼を記録するもので、クラウド上のデータがその場で削除されるわけではありません。他のアカウントを誤って変更しないよう本人確認を行い、手作業で、通常は 30 日以内に処理します。処理が完了するまでクラウド上のデータは残ります。確認済みのメールアドレスがある場合は、そのアドレス宛に完了を連絡します。匿名でご利用の方は、確認方法を調整するためサポート宛にメールでご請求ください。
お子さまについて
Realingo は 13 歳未満のお子さまを対象としておらず、13 歳未満のお子さまのデータを意図的に収集することはありません。アプリにソーシャル機能はありません。ユーザー間の共有、メッセージ、チャットのいずれもありません。

What we collect and why

We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and the app shows no ads.
Firebase Analytics collection is permanently disabled in the production app. The separate Google Sign-In SDK may process the limited device and usage data described above for sign-in functionality and SDK analytics. Realingo does not use this data for advertising or cross-app tracking.
On-device processing
Free exercise generation runs on your device with a local vision model, and speech recognition for speaking exercises also runs on your device. When you use these, your photos and audio are not sent anywhere.
Helping with research (optional)
You can choose to share your learning data with us to help research into exercises generated from photos. This is off by default. You turn it on in Settings > Share learning data, and you can stop at any time from the same screen.
While it is on, these are sent to our servers and stored with your account identifier:
- The photo an exercise was made from, with location and other metadata removed before sending
- The generated exercise text and its correct answer
- Your answer, whether it was correct, and how long it took
Your name, email address, and audio recordings are never included. The data is used only for research into exercise quality — never for advertising, and never sold. Turning sharing off stops future uploads. Copies already provided remain stored; contact us by email if you want to request their removal.
While it is off, none of this leaves your device. Your answers and history are kept only on your phone.
Cloud AI processing (Premium)
Premium adds exercise generation through cloud AI. When you use it, the photo you selected is sent to the Google Gemini API for processing under Google's Gemini API terms. Realingo's own servers do not keep this content beyond what is needed to process your request. Answer scoring for writing and speaking exercises is handled the same way when it runs in the cloud.
Where data is stored
- Google Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, Functions, Storage): account information, subscription verification state, limited service diagnostics, and research data you explicitly choose to share.
Unless you turn on research sharing, your photos are not uploaded to our storage. They stay on your device, and are only sent to the cloud AI service at the moment you ask for a cloud generation.
Third-party services
The app relies on these services, each processing data under its own terms:
- Google Firebase (accounts, database, file storage)
- Google Sign-In (optional account sign-in)
- Google ML Kit Translate (on-device translation and limited SDK telemetry)
- Google Gemini API (cloud AI processing for Premium generation and answer scoring)
We do not sell your data.
Your choices and rights
You can stop future research sharing at any time in Settings. You can start an account-deletion request from inside the app under Profile > Request deletion, or email naotonishida24@gmail.com for access and deletion requests. The in-app action records a pending request; it does not immediately delete cloud data. We verify identity and process the request manually, normally within 30 days, so that another account is never modified by mistake. Cloud data remains until processing is complete. We confirm completion using the verified email address when one is available; anonymous users should email support with their request so we can arrange confirmation.
Children
Realingo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app has no social features: there is no sharing between users, no messaging, and no chat.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its "Last updated" date.
